HOUSE: "Remorse"

Original Air Date
January 25, 2010

Description
The team takes on the case of Valerie, an attractive female executive experiencing random episodes of excruciating pain. House agrees to take the case based on Valerie’s looks, and while treating her, the men on the team are charmed by Valerie’s beauty and personality, with Thirteen looking beyond the superficial to try to discover a link to her illness. Meanwhile, House uncharacteristically attempts to alleviate his conscience by reaching out to a former medical school colleague he wronged.

Notes
(B-)
On the face of it having a new patient that is a sociopath sounds like a lot of fun. It is always fun to have patients that test and challenge House's philosophies. The episode, however, wasn't very exciting. The sociopath was excellent but the rest of the show was just so-so.

The side stories about House and an old college associate, Foreman and Thirteen making-up and House and Cuddy arguing about a photo that House defaced were not particularly sharp.

I have to say I would really like something to happen with Cuddy and Lucas. I, like seemingly everybody else, hate this relationship. If their relationship persists it would be nice if they would give House a new love interest or love distraction. What's Cameron up to? Just kidding. I doubt that would work.
