When Juliet asks Gus to help her track down an old boyfriend, she inadvertently exposes a dark and closely guarded secret.

(C+) It was a V-Day episode focusing on Juliet... what can I say. It would have been fun if the V-Day story line revolved around Spencer and Juliet, but obviously we are not at the point yet -- although it seems to be coming at some point this season. Instead, this episode focused on the long-lost love from Juliet's college days.

It might have been funnier if the writers would have hinted more at what Juliet was like during college. Then again, Juliet doesn't really have any distinguishable characteristics, so there really wasn't much to play on.

This is probably because everyone around her has very heightened characteristics. She is kind of weird... but is quite normal and plain compared to Lassiter, Shawn and Gus.

There was not a lot of Shawn and Gus action in the episode, therefore it was kind of a bust. The guest star that played the old boyfriend was not vary charismatic either, so that did not help.

I wonder if Juliet's boyfriend will return next year at the train station? Will she be dating Shawn by then?
