PSYCH: "Think Tank"

Shawn and Gus are recruited into a think tank to help prevent the murder of a business tycoon, but once the group has disbanded, they realize that one of the members plans to use the assassination ideas to kill the client instead of save him.

(B) This was a pretty original show. Again, it was quite different than the normal murder case story line. Spencer is apparently in a mini-funk lately, he says. Could this be because he wants to tell Juliet how he feels but has yet done it.

Also Spencer comes close to blowing his psychic credentials in this episode. His father is offered a position with the Police Department to oversee consultants, meaning his son's psych business.

That was an interesting little twist at the end. Mr. Spencer said no, but you have got to wonder if this is going to come up again.

As a side note I don't think Shawn and Juliet talked to each other much at all during this episode. It must be a little awkward. The writers also seem willing to prolong a confrontation until the very last moment. If they wait until the finale that is fine, but it must be addressed this season in some capacity.
