Dr. Cox makes Lucy his Hell Week leader; Turk feels threatened when an internationally renowned surgeon visitsNotes
(B-) Scrubs really seems to be finding its stride with the new cast, albeit with a few of the old ones still around. The interaction between the med students and Dr. Cox has worked pretty well so far this season. Turk, however, seems lost without Carla or J.D. around. Still, after 11 episodes, this series reboot seems to be working.
One thing that I have found interesting about this season, and this series in general, is the mileage that the writers get out of each of the relationships or couples. It seems like every show these days is built around unrequited love. A lot of the fun of this show is watching the various couples interact with each other.
I wasn't so sure about the Lucy and Cole coupling, but it has grown on me in the same fashion that Cole did. I really thought it was a weird misstep to make Cole's character such a big part of the new cast. Yet, it is working.
