(D) The premiere of HBO's How to Make It in America was less than impressive. The show does a good job of reflecting a time, a place, and generation, but there is just nothing much entertaining about it.
It was basically, hey, let's make a new show in New York. Well, great, who cares? That is honestly all I really have to say about the premiere because there really isn't much to talk about outside of that.
This is HBO's second big miss this year. Bored to Death, a similarly NYC-centric show, was a bust even though it received a second season renewal.
